mid april day

had a funny morning - went to UC campus for drop in life drawing but it was UC Berkeley Day - balloons and people everywhere and noooo parking. i drove because my legs are shot from biking yesterday. finally conceded and went to pet store to get Clo some food. the store was on its deathbed - closing forever and no cat food! 0 for 2. went to a low-key Target and bought Clo her cans, and a large container of oatmeal for myself, also paid the monthly bill.

took a detour and watched a ladies' soccer match near gilman. drew while sitting in the car. went to the marshlands, near the berkeley marina where it used to be landfill (filled with garbage). now there are birds and snakes and tall grass and shrubs.  sketched a few landscapes. loose hand good. continued onto studio and dropped off another stack of comics and sketchbooks. sprayed fixative all over my pages woot!

 no parking near home but didn't mind walking. it's nice out. got back home to friendly little beasts, fed them grass and petted them. made a tacoless salad lunch. ramping up for work now, glad it's going to be another awesome day.
