what other news... yes. this is important. my dear friends Solveig Tofte and Martin Ouimet are opening an eatery specializing in artisan breads and American treats. i flew out to Minneapolis to paint them a mural. pictures are on flickr.

hello.

i just signed two books special for the Lafayette Elementary annual auction, and realized i never posted this early 2011 interview by the wonderfully adept cynthia leitich smith:
