commissions for marilyn

i have been working on my comic, so i haven't been spending a lot of time painting this last week. but i think after christmas i will be getting back to the studio and back in touch with the canvas. here are a few pages from my sketchbook for future animal paintings.

slow technology

oy! lots of small bugs in the programs i am using, everything's crashing. also, internet connection has been wonky all this week. piled on top of these complaints is blogger kaputting in the middle of this post, and youtube halting horses for a maintenance check. i've got this hunk of junk in front of me, but there's nothing i can do with it except wait and stare. total bummer.



dakara: going through a lot of old stuff and reorganizing, analog style. gathering notes up for the next big book. no more long tail kitty for awhile, except for maybe in a future nickelodean issue.







deshalb: spending more time reading again - taiyo matsumoto's black and white. also finally reached part II of richard powers' The Echo Maker (not a comic, but still a book). plowing through robot references for the annual end of the year holiday card. thien wants a robot on the card, oyoyoy.
